Dairy dangers and Cancer

A study published in 1989 showed that Scandinavia and Netherlands (two areas with higher milk consumption) had higher breast cancer rates.

World-wide, men are far more likely to die of prostate cancer in countries where dairy consumption is high than in countries where it is low.

A study published in 1977 revealed that 10 men die of prostate cancer in Western Europe for every one who dies in Asia who had a low dairy consumption.

Women who consume dairy products on a regular basis triple their risk of ovarian cancer.

Dairy products are also linked to Cancer of the uterus and ovaries on women.

Serious dairy dangers will result from the accumulation of mucus in the nasal cavities and the choking of the pituitary gland, cochlea (in the ears) plus the area surrounding the mid-brain.

This mucus may eventually transform into cysts and tumors and finally turn Cancerous.

Dairy products and the dangers to women's reproductive system

Women who consume dairy products may suffer from vaginal discharges, ovarian cysts, fibrosis and finally uterine cancer.

Accumulation of mucus in the lungs will eventually cause breathing problems. It is one the main cause of asthma. This and smoking may lead to lung cancer.

Many more problems are linked to dairy dangers:

Chemicals In Your Dairy

Most cow’s milk has measurable quantities of herbicides, pesticides, dioxin’s (over 2,000 times the safe levels),  some 50 strong antibiotics, feces, bacteria, blood, pus and viruses.  The milk also has traces of anything the cow has eaten (pesticides, various chemicals etc...)

ONE cubic centimetre (cc) of commercial cow’s milk is by law allowed to have up to 750,000 somatic cells (common name is “PUS”) and 20,000 live bacteria... before it is kept off the market.

On February 25, 2002 Hoard's Dairyman (volume 147, number 4, page 150) ran an advert:

“You Can’t Tell By Looking”

According to the ad, 89% of the dairy herds in the USA have cows infected with leukemia.

This means that 9 times out of 10 when you eat the meat or drink the milk from a cow, you are eating cancer cells!

Not really though as pasteurization should remove the infection but, is it done properly?

Homogenization & Pasteurization

The dairy dangers from these two methods threaten our health:

Pasteurization

Milk is pasteurized several times before reaching your table. It is heated at 162 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 seconds.

This process also kills the digestive enzymes our body uses to digest this food. Furthermore, it also gets rid of half of the vitamins.

Several studies have shown that calves fed with their pasteurized mother's milk died within 2 months.

Why pasteurize then?

  • it keeps the milk longer so farmers have more time to sell it before it goes bad
  • it allows slack cleanliness by some unscrupulous farmers

Homogenization

Not good in terms of health as it breaks the milk molecules into tiny ones. This facilitates these fat bearing molecules to penetrate your organs and damage them. 

Homogenization together with the addition of Vitamin D to milk facilitates the deposit of calcium in the arteries. This causes the hardening of the arteries (atherosclerosis).

What Do Scientists Think Of Dairy Dangers?

It is interesting to notice that human beings are the only animals on this planet that keep on drinking milk after they have been weaned off their mother’s breast milk.

In the words of Dr Michael Klaper MD:

“It’s not natural for humans to drink cow’s milk. Humans milk is for humans. Cow’s milk is for calves. You have no more need of cow’s milk than you do rats milk, horses milk or elephant’s milk. Cow’s milk is a high fat fluid exquisitely designed to turn a 65 lb baby calf into a 400 lb cow.  That’s what cow’s milk is for!” 

What Is The Difference Between Mother’s Milk And Cow’s Milk?

Dairy dangers are increased when considering the following differences:

The genetics of a new-born calf is very different from ours. What is good for the calf is no good for us.

  • It takes 45 days for a calf to double its weight - 180 days for a human
  • Cow’s milk has three times more protein, almost four times more calcium and 3 times as much sodium than mother’s milk. Not a good match at all.
  • A cow will grow to three to four times the size of an adult
  • Cow’s milk only has 50% of the carbohydrate of human milk

Dr. John R. Christopher, N.D., M.H. specifies that cow’s milk contains up to 20 times more casein (the major proteins in milk) than mother's milk. This points to real dairy dangers as it is very difficult (nearly impossible) for us to digest.

Another factor is that to absorb calcium properly, the body, it needs a similar quantity of magnesium. As dairy does not contain a sufficient quantity of magnesium, only 25% of the calcium is absorbed.

The excess calcium turns to kidney stones. Arthritis and gout are also  linked to an excess of calcium.

The fat content in cow’s milk is only about 10% higher than in mother’s milk. Isn’t it amazing that this is the only thing we have changed in cow’s milk?

Dairy Dangers And Osteoporosis

Osteoporosis

A 12 years Harvard study of 78,000 nurses who drank three or more glasses of milk per day showed that it did not reduce fractures at all.

An Australian study showed the same thing.

The fact is that the more dairy people consumed, the more likely they are to suffer hip fractures.

People in North America and Northern Europe break two or three times more bones than people in Asians and Africans countries who have the lowest calcium intake.

Europe and North America consume the highest levels of dairy foods in the world.Unfortunately dairy product are now freely found in Asian supermarket so the associated problems from dairy dangers will also occur in Asia.

In the USA, one in two women and one in eight men over age 50 breaks a bone because of osteoporosis.

In China where people eat less than half the calcium recommended by the USDA and seem healthy. Among women over 50, the hip fracture rate appeared to be one fifth as high as in Western nations.

The problem is not so much that we do not get enough calcium.

We lose calcium when we eat regular portions of meat, poultry, eggs or dairy products.

All these products increase acidity in the body and.. the body’s way of  getting rid of this acid is to draw on its reserve of calcium and other minerals from bones and teeth to make the blood more alkaline.

Vegetarians will need about 50% less calcium than meat eaters because they lose much less calcium in their urine.

Here is the technical explanation from Dr Joseph Mercola:

“Your bones are a mineral bank for your body storing 99 percent calcium, 85 percent phosphorus and 60 percent magnesium. When mineral levels are low in the blood, osteoclasts break down bone to free up these minerals and deposit them in the blood.

Excessive animal protein intake increases the need for calcium to neutralize the acid formed from digesting animal protein. This indicates that the drinking of processed milk destroys bone in the process of digestion”.

Foods That Affect Calcium Absorption

  • Dairy
  • Sugar
  • Meat and meat products
  • Nightshade family (potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, etc...)
  • Vinegar except good organic apple cider vinegar
  • Too much table salt - avoid salty snack foods and canned goods with added sodium. Do not use salt at the table. A pinch of sea salt in your cooking is enough.

and... Smoking

Why Is Calcium So Important?

  • Calcium is used for the clotting of blood, the action of some enzymes and the interchange of body fluid through the cell walls.
  • Calcium helps the heart beat smoothly. 
  • If calcium is low, the nerves become irritable.
  • Mixed with phosphorous, calcium gives rigidity to our skeleton and teeth.

Vitamin D is also necessary for the proper absorption of calcium.

Get Strong Bones

Make sure you get your vitamin D supply. Ideally by gradually exposing your arms and legs to the sun every day. If not, make sure you take a good supplement.

Exercise

Without exercise your bones will never be strong.

The best form of exercise is walking. Try to go for a walk, in a pollution free area, everyday for 40 minutes if you can. If it is not possible everyday, go at least every second day.

Swimming is fine but no in chlorinated swimming pool water as this would damage your kidneys. Swimming in an un-poluted sea is best as the composition of our blood is very similar to that of sea water.
