In year 2000, I was introduced to Emotional Freedom Therapy
(EFT), and it became one of my weapons of choice to help my clients and students with emotional healing.
The thinking behind this therapy is that negative emotions are not only locked into the mind but also into the physical body.
to get rid of emotional turmoils by just working on the mind will not
work as we are only addressing half the problem. The EFT motto is:
"The cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body's energy system"
You may have seen a program on UK Channel 4 TV a while ago entitled
“HEAD CASE- Thanks for the memories”. In this program people who had an
organ transplant were interviewed, and it was revealed that all picked
up some of the memories of the people whose organ they had.
One gentleman after an organ transplant developed a strong desire to
go to a specific town for his holiday. He did not even know where the
town was before the surgery.
Some investigation with the family
of the person whose organ he received divulged that this organ donor always went
to that town for his holiday.
What this means is that to get rid of negative
emotions, you need to access not only the mind but also the organs in
This is why EFT is a winner for emotional healing as it
accesses all organs by using tapping points (similar to those used in
By sending a message to these acupuncture
points and using
special sentences, Emotional Freedom Therapy often manages to
convincingly and rapidly removes negative emotions, blockages, fears,
habits, etc.. quickly and effectively in many cases.
