Emotional Healing For Cancer

Stress / Negative Emotions are one of the main trigger to diseases

Emotional Healing is a vital part of well being.

It is very difficult to recover from cancer, heart problems or any other serious health problems if you are stressed, worried or unhappy.

In this page, I talk about my four favorite methods to deal with these negative emotions:

  1. Emotional Freedom Therapy (EFT)
  2. LifeFlow Audio Technology
  3. Aromatherapy Essential Oils
  4. A Hobby for Health

Negative Emotions Can Trigger Cancer

The following list of negative emotions is not exhaustive. Any emotions that cannot be coped with have an impact on your health.

  • stress at work
  • stress in transport
  • family problems
  • problems with spouse
  • nuisance neighbors
  • depression
  • bad news
  • death relatives/ friends
  • loss of job
  • divorce
  • moving house
  • any negative event that worries or depresses you

If any of the above affect you, you are in need of emotional healing.

It is not the negative event itself that is important but the way you process it

For example, one woman loses her job and goes into severe depression because her whole life revolved around her work.

She felt needed in her work, and her income was needed to pay the bills. This lady is in need of emotional healing.

She has a greater chance of getting sick than the person who loses her job but hated it anyway and knows that she can get a better job easily... or enjoy the extra time doing nothing.

Stress & Cancer

Stress is one of the main triggers of cancers. Research published in the New England Journal of Medicine (2012 April 5) was conducted from 1991 through 2006.

It involved 6,073,240 Swedes, and confirmed that the shock of being diagnosed with cancer is a lethal as the cancer itself.

The risk of heart related death was six times higher and the risk of suicide was twelve time higher one week after diagnosis.

Furthermore, the negative emotions from the diagnosis weakened the immune system and lessened the chances of recovery.

My recommendations on how to deal with this are listed below.

1- Emotional Freedom Therapy (EFT)

In year 2000, I was introduced to Emotional Freedom Therapy (EFT), and it became one of my weapons of choice to help my clients and students with emotional healing.

The thinking behind this therapy is that negative emotions are not only locked into the mind but also into the physical body.

Trying to get rid of emotional turmoils by just working on the mind will not work as we are only addressing half the problem. The EFT motto is:

"The cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body's energy system"

You may have seen a program on UK Channel 4 TV a while ago entitled “HEAD CASE- Thanks for the memories”. In this program people who had an organ transplant were interviewed, and it was revealed that all picked up some of the memories of the people whose organ they had.

One gentleman after an organ transplant developed a strong desire to go to a specific town for his holiday. He did not even know where the town was before the surgery.

Some investigation with the family of the person whose organ he received divulged that this organ donor always went to that town for his holiday.

What this means is that to get rid of negative emotions, you need to access not only the mind but also the organs in the body.

This is why EFT is a winner for emotional healing as it accesses all organs by using tapping points (similar to those used in acupuncture).

By sending a message to these acupuncture points and using special sentences, Emotional Freedom Therapy often manages to convincingly and rapidly removes negative emotions, blockages, fears, phobias, unwanted habits, etc.. quickly and effectively in many cases.

2- Meditation To Control Your Emotions

Meditations are, in my opinion, the best and most effective therapy to get your emotions under control. I have used it myself and strongly recommend it.

We know that stress or negative emotions can trigger cancer.

In my experiences, I have found that it is very difficult to get rid of cancer unless you can let go of these debilitating emotions.

Meditating is extremely simple, but if you are new to it, you need guidance.
