Acupressure Massage / On Site Massage DVD

In this video, I will demonstrate how to safely and effectively give a full Acupressure/ On Site Massage. This massage can be performed on an ordinary chair but it is best performed on a special massage chair as shown on the left. This massage is performed fully clothed and only the hands, fists and elbows of the therapist are used.

The first part of the video explains the equipment needed to perform the massage. Then follows a list of contra-indications to Acupressure massage (when not to massage).

Throughout the film, our tutor explains what she is doing. The name of the Meridians she is working on will be clearly displayed for your information and so will the name of the various strokes performed.

Treatment to all parts of the body will be demonstrated: Special attention will be paid to the bladder meridian which is situated just off the spine. Many moves are performed on the back for relaxation and stimulation of Tsubos (acupressure points). Also demonstrated are the shoulders, the arms, the hands, the neck, the head and the scalp. Stretches are also demonstrated.

At the end of the video, a special section has been added when 10 very special acupressure points are explained together with their therapeutic benefits.

This massage can be either invigorating for those who need more energy or relaxing for those who need de-stressing. As the energy flows better through the stimulated meridian points, the body automatically adjusts itself to whatever is needed for good health.
