Product Information on the Reviber

Many studies have proved that simply standing on a vibratory surface, such as found on the Reviber, has an large number of benefits and can:

  • Increase oxygenated blood flow, helping to repair the skin and muscles
  • Increase bone mineral density, essential for those prone to osteoporosis
  • Improve muscle strength and speed of movement
  • Improve posture and balance
  • Alleviate back pain

All this from just a few minutes use a day. More studies are being conducted and it is exciting to wonder what new applications might be discovered.

Both young and not so young can use the Reviber. Especially those who don't get their much needed exercise.

Increases Bone Mineral Density (BMD)

The study in this link concluded that standing on a machine such as the Reviber is "more effective than walking to improve two major determinants of bone fractures:

  1. Hip Bone Mineral Density is improved

  2. Balance

This makes the Reviber essential for those prone to osteoporosis.

Increases Oxygenated Blood Flow

The Reviber also helps to increase oxygenated blood flow to the skin and particularly to the muscles. An effect attributed mainly to the reduction in the viscosity of blood and its increased speed through the arteries.

Strength & Speed

This stimulation is proven to increase strength and speed.

A study on men found that "...the biological mechanism produced by vibration is similar to the effect produced by explosive power training (jumping and bouncing)."

From studies on women the researchers concluded that standing on a vibrating surface is as beneficial as going to the gym for improving leg strength and speed of movement!

Researchers have not only concluded that Whole Body Vibration is "safe and well tolerated in the elderly" but the same study also discovered that it aids in their walking ability!

Tonic Vibration Explained

The unique motion of the Reviber creates instability in the human body, which automatically reacts by working the muscles thousands of times a minute in order to maintain equilibrium.  Adaptation of the body to this stimulation, an effect called super-compensation,  happens so thoroughly that the body becomes stronger very quickly.

The Reviber activates the human body’s vibration reflex. Adaptation of the body to this Reviber stimulation, an effect called super-compensation,  happens so thoroughly that the body becomes stronger very quickly. Several gyms are now using larger units and are reporting that doing a standard workout on a Reviber greatly increases the beneficial effects of the workout.

For the not so young but also for the young and active..

For improving the health and fitness of the elderly or inactive, through to the conditioning of professional athletes, we feel sure that you will be delighted with the wonderful feeling of the Reviber.  Such is the enjoyment that you may be tempted to over-indulge, but for optimum benefit and peak performance you need only use it for a few minutes at a time.

Using the Reviber?

For maximum effect and the whole body response you simply stand on the comforable rubber topper. But you can also use it to massage particular parts of the body:

For example, by placing your hands on the Reviber, your shoulders and neck will be massaged; while sitting on it will distribute the sensation to your torso and thighs. All the health benefits of Tonic Vibration AND sheer enjoyment - From the Reviber!

We recommend the Reviber be used for no more than 30 minutes per day.

For the elderly or infirm we recommend no more than 2 x 10 minutes sessions per day. For this reason the Reviber has a 10 minute auto-reset.

Other benefits

Further studies have proven that Reviber stimulation alleviates back pain; increases flexibility; and due to its effect on muscle strength and tone, the Reviber also  improves posture,  and where continence is a problem it also strengthens bladder control. All this from using the Reviber for only a few minutes several times a week.
